Generosity
by Justine C. Tajonera
This embrace has no limits.
It has nothing to do with depletion,
with the weary resignation
of giving away too
much.
For something so essential
there is no measure,
no moment of having had
enough.
Go fearlessly into
the heart of the matter
and see what is really
needed.
It hardly has to do with
the amount of things,
the weight of things,
the number.
For grief and joy,
comfort and
love
are hardly grasped
by limits,
but they are all
completely
absorbed and
conveyed
in a touch.
