Ring

Ring

We circle back

to this sore

spot, over and

over, finding

myriad, bare-

knuckled ways

of saying

what’s

wrong.

We get so

creative,

we forget

the

point.

Look,

I’m in

your

corner.

Give me

a hand,

not your

fist.
