Greece Awaits
by Justine C. Tajonera
Olive trees
and marble columns
in the water,
white villages
against a blue sea
and sky.
All these were
created for me
a long time ago
when I was only
a story.
And there it is
a story itself,
waiting to be told,
already told,
unfolding even
now.
These feet will
touch
the Aegean
Sea.
