By Justine C. Tajonera
I never buy bookmarks.
They're everywhere
I am.
Desperate to mark a page,
I've run into bizarre
alternatives:
toilet paper, receipts,
scraps of newspaper,
gum wrap, leaves,
tea and sugar packets,
a piece
of string, movie tickets,
socks, coins, photos,
price tags.
The world is full of
everything we need
if we define
the results
and remove the boxes
around our
heads.
