When the clearing emerges
I see more things
come into
view.
I sweep away the clutter
and realize that there
is a beautiful picture
of my son
on the shelf.
When I hear the wind
and the sound of
my breathing
I create a listening
that opens not just
my ears
but my
heart.
The blankness of
serenity
is nothing like
despair,
it is a canvas
for majestic
actions
and rich tapestries
of all that is cherished
and rare.
